SYSTEMATISK ÖVERSIKT 2026

933 records screened, 20 studies included, only 2 RCTs and 54 total human participants; the laser-resurfacing RCT hit satisfaction (P=.04) but missed wrinkle reduction (P=.77).

PRISMA systematisk översikt of GHK-Cu in aesthetic medicine. 933 records identified, 690 after deduplication, 94 full texts screened, 20 studies included: 18 preclinical or non-randomised, 2 RCTs. Total human RCT participants: 54, all female, ages 40-77. In the first RCT (circumoral CO2 laser resurfacing, 13 analysed), patient satisfaction favoured GHK-Cu (P=.04) but between-group wrinkle reduction was not significant (Mann-Whitney P=.77). In the second (split-face, 39 analysed, nano-carrier serum twice daily for 8 weeks), wrinkle depth and volume fell significantly vs vehicle. No meta-analysis was possible due to heterogeneity. Level 3 evidence.

Evidence for GHK-Cu in aesthetic medicine is limited to 2 small RCTs with mixed results.
Kritikernoter

20 included studies but 18 of them preclinical or non-randomised. The only placebo-controlled wrinkle endpoint (n=13 analysed) was negative (P=.77). No meta-analysis possible.
