NICE-PAD II (NCT07782671) is a Phase 3 randomiserad trial testning nicotinamide riboside (NR) i personer with lower-extremity peripheral artery disease. The trial was registered on ClinicalTrials.gov with a last-update date of 2026-08-24 och a status of not yet recruiting. It is a follow-up till the original NICE trial (NCT03743636), publicerad i Nature Communications i 2024 (PMID 38871717), which testad 6 months of NR with och without resveratrol i 90 personer with PAD. The original trial measured 6-minute walk distance at 6-month follow-up. NICE-PAD II is sponsrad by Mary M. McDermott, MD, at Northwestern University.
