This is a trial registration, not a completed study. ATLAS 2 (sponsor Amazentis, run through Atlantia Clinical Trials in Cork, Ireland) enrolls healthy adults aged 40 to 65 with BMI 25-34.9 and low physical activity levels. Deltagare take placebo, 500 mg, or 1000 mg Mitopure daily for six months. The trial measures muscle strength, health, and performance at baseline, four months, and six months. It exists to confirm the muscle-strength signal from the 2022 Singh et al. trial (NCT03464500), which found roughly 12 percent hamstring strength improvement at 500 mg. Recruitment window is december 2025 to april 2027, with last-participant-last-visit expected oktober 2027. No results exist yet. The value of this entry is tracking status: this is the study that would either confirm or fail to replicate urolithin A's strongest human signal in the longevity supplement category. Until it reads out, urolithin A's evidence base rests on a single trial and its substudies.
