The Wolverine Stack combines BPC-157 (a 15-amino-acid gastric juice derivative) with TB-500 (a 7-residue fragment of thymosin beta-4) in a single lyophilized vial, typically at a 1:1 mass ratio (5+5 mg or 10+10 mg). It is the single most commercially successful peptide combination in the gray-market peptide space, priced around $74-130 per bundle.

The two peptides have genuinely non-overlapping proposed mechanisms. BPC-157 is associated with local angiogenesis and growth-factor signaling. TB-500 is associated with actin-mediated cell migration and reduced fibrosis. This mechanistic complementarity is the basis for the stack's marketing.

However, zero published human trials have tested the combination. A 2025 systematic review by Vasireddi et al. found no human safety data for either peptide individually or in combination. The TB-500 fragment sold in these stacks is not the molecule tested in human trials: those used full-length recombinant Tbeta4, which missed its primary endpoint in every late-stage program.

Both peptides came off FDA Category 2 in April 2026 and received positive PCAC recommendations in July 2026, meaning legal compounded access may open. However, regulatory reclassification is a procedural step, not an endorsement of efficacy or safety.

Both are WADA-prohibited (TB-500 under S2/S0), so competitive athletes risk sanctions. Neither is approved for human use in any jurisdiction. Product purity is the practical risk: independent testing of commercial peptide products has found roughly 8% contaminated, some with bacterial endotoxins capable of sepsis-like reactions.

Fixed-ratio blends remove the ability to titrate either component independently. If an adverse reaction occurs, there is no way to determine which peptide caused it.
