Kate Tolo’s 24 August 2026 Blueprint post announces a female-specific protocol. She plans to map a baseline for multiple months, keeping nutrition, sleep, and exercise consistent while measuring 1,900 biomarkers at 4 cycle points: follicular, ovulation, luteal, and menstruation. The measurements include blood, urine, stool, and vaginal microbiome data. Tolo says her baseline may take months because menstrual-cycle variation must be captured; she contrasts this with Bryan Johnson’s baseline work, which he says took 1–2 weeks. She previously followed Johnson’s protocol for 90 days and says it improved her health, but this post supplies no controlled comparison or quantified result. The planned project will use a full-time medical team and about $2 million per year. Questions include fertility, PMS, cycle regularity, phase-specific needs for iron, magnesium, and protein, exercise recovery, and early perimenopause signals. Tolo has endometriosis and says the project will examine it. The post also repeats a claim that cholesterol can vary about 19% across a cycle. An NIH summary of a 259-woman study reports this variation, but that study does not show that any person was misdiagnosed or that cycle-timed testing improves outcomes. Critic notes

No new critic piece supplied a human RCT or meta-analysis that tests Tolo’s protocol.
