First Large-Scale NMN RCT Shows Significant Improvement in Cognitive Function
Largest NMN RCT to date reports significant cognitive improvement in healthy adults.
The largest randomized, dubbelblind, placebokontrollerad trial of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) to date reported significant improvement in cognitive function. Prior NMN trials were small (n=20-80) and focused on physical endpoints like grip strength and walking speed. This trial extends the evidence base for NMN beyond physical performance to cognitive outcomes. The dose and duration were not fully specified in the source material at time of writing. This is a meaningful step forward because most NAD+ precursor research has been in preclinical models or small human studies, and cognitive aging is the outcome most consumers care about. The finding should be read with caution until peer-reviewed publication confirms the effect size, comparator, and statistical significance threshold.
Significant improvement in cognitive function observed in the largest NMN RCT conducted to date.
Results reported via secondary source (longevitynews.io) before peer-reviewed publication. Effect size and p-values not available at time of writing.
